Tasting Notes:
97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot
The 2003 Reserve has concentrated aromas of plum, tobacco, coffee and cocoa layered with rich plum, black fruit and subtle hints of anise. This rich and full-bodied wine has notes of coffee, plum and vanilla that fill the mouth and lead to ripe and supple tannins on the lengthy finish.

“As good as the winery’s ‘03 Cab was, this is even better. It’s almost all Cabernet Sauvignon, with a few drops of other Bordeaux varieties, and is so long, rich and deep in flavor, it just has to cellar well. The tannins currently star, and they’re tough and gritty, but six or more years will start to melt them, leaving behind pure, sweet, black fruit.”
